Video Poker Instructions:
Video poker won't be difficult to catch onto if you're familiar with the rules of the card version of the game. Both versions are played in much the same way.
- To begin, you must place a bet by putting coins in the machine. A bet has to be made before you are dealt any cards. And once the game has started, you cannot change your wager.
- Then, to receive your first hand of five cards, push the "Draw/Deal" button.
- To decide what cards you'd like to keep, press the "Hold/Cancel" button under the card. If you change your mind and decide not to keep a certain card, press the "Hold/Cancel" button again to erase your hold.
- Before moving on, make sure you have confirmation on the screen about which cards you're holding. The word "hold" will flash under the card(s) you've selected.
- Press the Deal/Draw button again to get more cards to replace the ones you've discarded.
Please keep in mind that the cards won't always appear in order when they're on screen. Most video poker games don't let you know about a hand/hand potential hand until after the game.
